The end of the Australia 2020 summit has come but it is not the end. It is just the beginning. This is where we (the public) discuss the ideas further. In the following days I want to provide a forum and have you comment on some of the ideas presented. Do you have ideas about which ones you would like to be commented on? Send me an email at australia2020online@gmail.com and those will be the ones I start with.

When I setup the forum it would be great if people could help by making individual posts about the different ideas and commenting on them! To do this you will register, I will respect your privacy by keeping your emails and details secure and not providing them to other parties! Until tomorrow!

Australia 2020 online - keeping the discussion alive

The end of the Australia 2020 summit has come however as Prime Minister Rudd suggested, we do not stop the dialogue between us. This site is to provide ideas and strategies for how we can continue this discussion and involve the public using the internet and technologies on the internet.

To start this off I am offering to help anyone FOR FREE, who is wanting to start a site and provide ways for the public and their users to discuss their ideas or specific areas. To do this I suggest two things, one a blog (like this site), and two a forum. I will set these up FREE for anyone who is willing to participate, develop and provide ways for the public in general to collaborate aswell. This is extended to the 1000 and to anyone else who wants to have a voice. Ideally there should not be too many forums, but a few popular large forums that cover specific areas.

I believe that the way Prime Minister Rudd has taken is a good way, and has been tested in the form of the open source movement. Which is another form of social collaboration. If you would like to take me up on this offer please email me at australia2020online@gmail.com

Also if you have any ideas or how you are stimulating discussion online or providing innovating ways to get people interested. Email me at the above email and I will share it on this blog. If you have any good videos from the Australia 2020 summit please let me know of them and I will post them here or on the www.australia-2020.com.au news site.
